Yes, It’s Possible
When I walked into The Key Hypnosis on May 20, 2013, I was 365 pounds and couldn't get up off my couch or climb stairs without pain. My left ankle was buckling under the strain of my weight, complicated by corrective surgery I'd had when I was younger. I had to wear a very conspicuous and VERY uncomfortable brace and could only stand up for very short periods of time without pain in my ankle and back.I went home from my first session with Julie thinking, "There's no WAY I'm ever going to be able to do this!" I had developed an emotional attachment to food that was slowly killing me. I was eating fast food at least 1 meal a day, usually more. I thought it was a lost cause. How would I EVER live without fast food and sweets? It seemed hopeless and I walked out of there feeling defeated. Then something amazing happened. I made the decision that I was going to follow the plan, just for one meal. I made it through, grudgingly, and went on to the next, each time making the decision that I was going to do this, do it right, and succeed. I kept making that decision over and over until I didn't have to consciously do so anymore, and that didn't take long... THREE DAYS in, I found myself having to tighten my belt. TWO WEEKS in I could stand up from a sitting or kneeling position unassisted. I lost an incredible amount of weight the first three months and have been losing steadily (but much more slowly) ever since. At almost 16 months in I've hit my original goal. I started out at a size 46/48 waist and a 19 collar (that's about a 4x tee shirt). Today, I'm a 34/36 waist and 16.5 collar. My shirt size is L or XL depending on the cut. I have no more back pain and I have ditched the ankle brace completely. Julie Kibe gave me my life back when I am certain it was almost over. She made me "break up" with the food that was killing me and develop a non-abusive relationship with food that I am sure will stay with me and keep me looking and feeling great for a good long time. Today I get to ride roller coasters and go kayaking and bicycling with my son and that alone makes it easy to say no to the foods that got me into so much trouble (that and the fact that I'm officially better-looking at 42 than I was at 17!!).
