Simple and stress-free
I've been an athlete all my life, and when I started gaining weight in my mid thirties, I was frantic. How could this be happening to me - I'm supposed to be able to stay fit! I lost 50 lbs when I was 44 and felt relieved, but somehow within 10 months it was back with 10 of its closest friends. I know many people out there have experienced or are experiencing this same thing, and that they spending so much time trying to control their eating, accept their bodies, get more exercise, weigh their food, try this plan and that, and fight against their cravings and imminent diseases. It's exhausting and depressing and it feels like there is no way out. I tried hypnosis with a private practitioner several years earlier, and after two fruitless appointments gave it up. At 56 I had thrown in the towel. Then, a great friend told me that her sister-in-law had done this program (ok, she said "this weird program...") with great results and I thought to myself "What the heck, I have absolutely nothing to lose and what if it works?" I was skeptical as I'd unsuccessfully tried hypnosis, but I was also optimistic as my friend and her sister-in-law are intelligent, down-to-earth people. My optimism was well-founded. This program has worked for me from the first day. I've never struggled, and one of Julie's many directives - "eat when you're hungry, not when you're not" - was so freeing for me. No calorie counting, no meal-time planning, no 7 small meals a day, no weighing anything. It freed me from all of the hassles of the normal diet or lifestyle change plans. This program is clear-cut, basic, and easy to follow. Julie talks about free will, and I will tell you that the few times I had what came close to a craving I just said "nope" and that was that. I didn't wrestle, justify, think about it - just "nope." This program is empowering and it's magical. I would recommend not over-thinking, researching or questioning because you will always find naysayers and you will always find an opposite opinion. Simply believe, and then reap the significant benefits of both weight loss and health gains. I call it magic, and to me that's exactly what it is. It's been about 6 months, and I'm down from an 18-20 to a 10-12. I feel great, and I'm comfortable in my body again. I'm back to being me. Of course time will tell if this is as effective as I believe, but it's already felt completely different from every other diet and effort I've made. Get on the waiting list.
